Rather than leaning into the traditional neutral Napa Valley wedding palette, this celebration embraced color in a big way.

The design incorporated bold florals, playful patterns, layered textures, and unexpected details that gave the entire wedding a maximalist feel while still remaining cohesive. Every element was intentionally selected to work together—from the ceremony design and tabletop details to the stationery, linens, and floral installations.

The result felt romantic and sophisticated without being overly formal. It was colorful, joyful, and full of personality.

The Ceremony at Carneros Resort and Spa

The natural beauty of Carneros Resort created an incredible setting for the ceremony. Surrounded by the landscape of Napa Valley, the ceremony design enhanced the setting rather than competing with it.

Statement florals brought color into the space and created a beautiful focal point while allowing the surrounding wine country scenery to remain part of the overall design.

One of our favorite parts of planning weddings in Napa is finding that balance between creating something visually impactful and preserving what makes the venue itself so special.

A Layered and Maximalist Reception Design

The reception brought the design vision to life through layers of color, pattern, florals, and carefully selected tabletop details.

Instead of relying on one statement element, we focused on creating an immersive experience. Each table contributed to the overall look through intentional combinations of linens, florals, paper goods, candles, place settings, and smaller details.

Maximalist wedding design doesn’t necessarily mean adding more of everything. For us, it means knowing where to create impact and how to layer elements so the finished space still feels polished and intentional.
