Jenny and Ian are one of the sweetest couples we’ve had the pleasure of working with. As wedding planners, we helped them bring their vision of a romantic and modern Park Winters wedding to life.

Spring was just beginning, and we were looking forward to a beautiful outdoor celebration. But one week before the wedding, a surprise storm appeared in the forecast. The weather shifted every 12 hours, making it nearly impossible to predict what we’d be dealing with. Jenny and Ian stayed calm and grateful, constantly reminding us how thankful they were to have a planner by their side.

When the big day arrived, we woke up to steady rain and puddles across the property. With multiple backup plans in place A through E, we quickly transitioned to our contingency plan. One thing remained constant: this couple had assembled an incredible vendor team who were ready to pivot as needed. Everyone was determined to give Jenny and Ian the best day possible.

Rain on your wedding day

As luck would have it, the rain cleared just in time for the ceremony. We wiped down the chairs and guests took their seats. Jenny and Ian exchanged vows under clearing skies, with a full rainbow stretching across the horizon.

From there, the celebration was flawless. Golden hour arrived right on time for stunning sunset portraits. Function 45 surprised the newlyweds with cold sparklers on the dance floor. Heartfelt toasts had everyone in tears, and the dance floor was packed all night.
